DMCA For 666D.Live

At 666D.live, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy outlines the procedures we follow to respond to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

This document explains how copyright owners can notify us of alleged infringements, how we respond to those notices, and how users can submit counter-notifications if they believe their content has been removed in error or misidentification.

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one), and you believe that material available on 666D.live infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below to submit a valid DMCA notice.

1. Understanding Copyright and the DMCA

Copyright law protects original works of authorship, such as written content, images, music, videos, software, and other creative expressions fixed in a tangible medium. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), enacted in 1998, establishes a framework for copyright owners and online service providers to cooperate in addressing copyright violations occurring online.

As a digital platform, 666D.live operates as an “online service provider” under the DMCA. This means we are not automatically responsible for infringing content uploaded by our users. However, once we are properly notified of an alleged infringement, we are legally required to act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the infringing material.

2. What Qualifies as Copyright Infringement

Copyright infringement occurs when someone reproduces, distributes, publicly displays, or creates derivative works from a copyrighted work without authorization. Common examples include:

  • Uploading copyrighted movies, songs, images, or text without permission.
  • Sharing links to pirated or unlicensed media.
  • Reposting another creator’s work without attribution or a license.

Please note that not all use of copyrighted material constitutes infringement. Under U.S. law, certain uses may fall under “fair use,” including commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research. However, whether a particular use qualifies as fair use depends on multiple legal factors and should be assessed carefully before filing a DMCA notice.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on 666D.live without your permission, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Your notice must include all of the following information to be valid under Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA:

  1. Your Contact Information
    • Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address.
  2. Identification of the Copyrighted Work
    • Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If your notice involves multiple copyrighted works, you may provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the Infringing Material
    • Provide specific URLs or other information identifying the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity.
  4. A Statement of Good Faith Belief
    • You must include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A Statement of Accuracy
    • You must include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Signature
    • The notice must be physically or electronically signed by the copyright owner or an authorized representative.

Once your completed DMCA notice is received, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice:

  1. We will promptly acknowledge receipt of the complaint.
  2. We will review the notice for completeness and validity.
  3. If the notice meets DMCA requirements, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content.
  4. We will notify the user responsible for uploading the material about the removal and provide them with a copy of the takedown notice.

We may also terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on others’ copyrights.

6. Submitting a Counter-Notification

If your material has been removed due to a DMCA notice, but you believe it was taken down as a result of mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notification.

Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address, or if outside the U.S., to an appropriate judicial district.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send your counter-notification to the same DMCA Agent listed above.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, 666D.live may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

In compliance with the DMCA, 666D.live enforces a repeat infringer policy. We reserve the right to terminate, without notice, any account belonging to a user who is found to have repeatedly infringed copyrights or violated intellectual property laws.

We also may remove or restrict access to any content that we, in our discretion, deem potentially infringing or in violation of our Terms of Service, even without a formal DMCA notice.

8. No Legal Advice

This DMCA Policy is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If you are uncertain about your rights or responsibilities under the DMCA, we strongly recommend consulting an attorney before submitting or responding to a DMCA notice.
